INTERNATIONAL CENTER OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES AND CULTURES
The International Center of Foreign Languages and Cultures is an academic unit attached to the Academic Vice-Presidency. Its mission is to promote the integral formation of the human person, understood as the development of competencies that enable students to build knowledge through autonomous processes in constant dialogue with social interactions. These interactions act as mediators and facilitators of learning and self-recognition through the discovery of others. Through these dynamics, students can identify and analyze, from a critical perspective, the realities, needs, and demands of Colombian society and respond to them as agents of social change.
has proposed its Project for the Conformation of the Academic Community in the effective use in Foreign Language with 3 lines of action: Integrated Teaching of Disciplinary Content in Foreign Language, Sufficiency in Foreign Language and Interculturality.

Pedagogical Practice
Under supervision, students will complete their practice in university settings that highlight the diverse roles of an English language teacher. Therefore, interns will develop their teaching experience at the Center of Foreign Languages and Cultures, working in a university context and in both English and foreign language teaching environments.
Definition
In the teaching field, teaching practice refers to a pedagogical process carried out in real educational settings, where the intern applies academic, pedagogical, and personal knowledge.
At USTA–Bucaramanga, teaching practice requires interns to analyze the theoretical concepts studied during their programs, develop their professional vision, apply their understanding of the realities of teaching, and demonstrate a strong research spirit in order to generate positive changes in their environment.
